Who we are
Funeraria San Xoan is a family-run funeral director and tanatopraxia service covering the whole of the Costa Blanca North, from Alicante city to Dénia, taking in Villajoyosa, Benidorm, l'Alfàs del Pi, Altea, Calpe, Benissa, Teulada-Moraira and Jávea. We're not a large chain: we're a close-knit team who looks after you personally from the first phone call through to the delivery of the ashes.
We work every day with families from other countries — British, German, French, Dutch — living on the Costa Blanca. We explain the process calmly, in your own language, and handle all the documentation and paperwork, because we know the Spanish system can feel confusing if you don't know it well.
